Van Niekerk Family Session

Our original plan for this family session took an unexpected twist — the location had burnt down, and I only discovered it when I arrived on Saturday afternoon!

With no time to waste, I quickly phoned a friend who owns a local guesthouse. She kindly ran to peek over the wall to check if the field nearby had escaped the fire. Phew — it had! So off we went, racing up to Kanonkop instead, which turned out to be a beautiful spot for the shoot.

This was the very first family photo session for the Van Niekerk family, and what a joy it was. Brothers Damian and Leander brought all the energy and laughter, while mom Liezel and dad David added a touch of romance to the mix. Together, they made such a gorgeous family in front of my lens.
